Humphrey Alumni Association brought Turkish alumni members together with Turkish Fulbright Commission, US Embassy Ankara officials  and YES (Youth Exchange and Study) Program Alumni at Humphrey Alumni Association Annual Reception on March 31,2017 held in Beat Café Brasserie in Bahçelievler, Ankara.

Association President Aysegul Cerci greeted guests with a warm welcoming speech and expressed the Association’s intention on collaborating with other US State Alumni organizations and contributing to their projects with Humphrey alumni’s vast knowledge and experience. She also highlighted the importance and functions of the Association’s website ( for alumni members, potential candidates and the public in general. The Association aims to maintain the website as a main tool for reflecting the diversity of   the Humphrey alumni’s professional work with the public.

Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer, US Embassy Saad Bokhari expressed his appreciation for Turkish Humphrey Alumni members and the Association Board for their efforts to keep the alumni network vibrant, connected and productive despite the small size of the group. YES Association president Coskun Islek also thanked Humphrey Alumni Association Board for the invitation and told that they will be happy to collaborate on different projects with Humphrey alumni. Mevlude Bakır, American Programs Officer from Turkish Fulbright Commission said that the Commission has always been supportive of all the Fulbright Alumni in their projects.
